| Spell
Checking |
|
At long last we've added native spell checking within
RFPMonkey. Spell checking (and grammar checking) work
within Question, Answer, Key Words, and Comments
fields.

Our spell checker
supports personal dictionaries, auto-correct, and
configurable options such as case sensitivity.

Search & Replace |
|
Recent customer requests have
lead to the addition of a Search & Replace
feature. Users who have Approval permissions can now
update their repository, changing all occurrences of a
specified word or phrase to another. This feature
operates on any/all parts of the entry (Question, Answer,
Key Words, Comments, and Source).
Don't forget about these other
features that can either be used with Search & Replace,
or can even prevent the need for it...
-
Including Product and
Prospect Name by reference - You can insert tags
into your entries that will substitute product name into
your answers, so that if you change a product in the
Grouping tab, it will be automatically adjusted within
any entry that references it. Similarly, if you
are 'connected' to an RFP Project, that project's
Prospect Name can be inserted into any entry that
includes a %%Prospect%% tag. These features allow
you to make Product and Prospect references without
having to hard-code those values.
-
Globally changing
categorization values under the Grouping tab - Changing
values in the Grouping section (category, sub-category,
product, product version, and division) will not only
change the available grouping values in drop-down
fields, but will also adjust the related grouping for
any existing repository entries.

Updates |

'Source' is now captured to
tie responses to specific prospects or data entry
efforts. If you add new entries while connected to a
Project, that project's prospect name is automatically
supplied as the source. If not connected to a
project, then the source field is open to free form entry.
To help facilitate better
collaboration within Projects, we've added a simple, but
important 'Acknowledgement' check box to project
assignments. This allows assignment owners to
acknowledge their receipt of new assignments. Team
mates are aware of this vital stage in the project and
don't have to email or phone to get a simple update.
